Full Job Description

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and well-organised.

  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

  • Support the chef in cooking and baking tasks when required.

  • Wash all the dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

  • Sweep and mop floors and take out the rubbish regularly.

    A team player with a positive attitude.

  • Someone with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is a plus, but not essential - we provide full training.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

    64 bedded Nursing & Residential home

  • Full time; 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends

  • Hourly rate; £11.44 per hour
