Kitchen Porter

As a Kitchen Porter you will be an integral part of the Kitchen Brigade, reporting into the Head Chef, you will be required to work shift patterns of morning and afternoon. You must be enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to learn.

You key areas of responsibility will include:

• Provide assistance to the Head Chef/ Other Chefs to help ensure the smooth running of the food service operations.


• General washing-up duties to include kitchen equipment


• Ensuring all kitchen areas are clear of debris and conform to health and safety regulations


• Checking and storing deliveries


• Assisting with picking and packing orders


• Assisting the kitchen team with additional duties and when required


• Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning all floors and surface areas


• Seperation & disposal of waste
  
  You must be self-motivated and be personable in the way you deal with people, who believe in delivering the best possible standards in guest service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and be super organised.


The successful applicant for this role will have a positive 'can do' attitude, be passionate about every aspect of food and cooking and show that they care.
