Kitchen Porter

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be required to work shift patterns of morning and afternoon. As Kitchen Porter you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be a crucial part of our guests' journey. You must be enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to learn. You must be self-motivated and be personable in the way you deal with people, who believe in delivering the best possible standards in guest service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and on your feet. The role requires bags of stamina, and you will enjoy the fast pace of working in the kitchen and be very organised. Your key areas responsibility will include:

• Provide assistance to the Head Chef/ Sous Chef/ other Chefs to help ensure the smooth running of the food service operations.
• General washing -up duties to include kitchen equipment
• Ensuring all kitchen areas are clear of debris and conform to health and safety regulations
• Checking and storing deliveries
• Assisting with picking and packing orders
• Assisting the kitchen team with additional duties and when required
• Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning all floors and surface areas
• Disposal of waste
