Kitchen Porter - Ref 186

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Ealing, for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Accent. This is a part time position working 40 hours per week, 7:00am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, Monday to Friday term-time only - so all the school holidays off! Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of:

• general kitchen duties
• putting away deliveries
• food preparation, such as peeling, washing and cutting
• helping kitchen managers with inventory management
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitised in line with health regulations
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the
service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
  
  This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to
demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
