Kitchen Porter - Royal Brompton Hospital

A Vacancy has arisen within this busy catering department in the Royal Brompton Hospital. We are looking to recruit a dedicated Kitchen Porter who will ensure the standard of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained to the levels indicated by the Trust, the EHO and the Department of Health.

The role will include assisting with food deliveries, stock rotation, recording delivery temperatures and storage. Cleaning of the main kitchen premises and equipment as per the cleaning schedules using correct color coded equipment.

Reporting any sign of pests to the Head Chef, Supervisors and Managers, reporting all equipment defects to the Head Chef. Working as part of a team to main high standards of cleanliness is adhered to within the catering department, clearing used crockery and cleaning tables, loading/unloading dishwasher., The role will include assisting with food deliveries, stock rotation, recording delivery temperatures and storage.
