What You'll Do : As a Kitchen Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day activities of our kitchen, ensuring all products are prepared safely, to the highest quality, and in line with customer specifications. You'll manage the kitchen schedule, lead a team of operatives, and drive efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and continuous improvement. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Managing daily kitchen schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely adjustments to meet production targets.
  • Overseeing the preparation of recipes in line with batch sizes and priority schedules.
  • Monitoring kitchen operations, ensuring orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Minimising waste by implementing corrective action plans and maintaining stock control.
  • Coordinating resources, raw materials, and staffing to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Leading and developing team members, conducting regular reviews and appraisals.
  • Ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and liaising with maintenance as required.
  • Conducting product tastings and quality checks, addressing any issues with management.
  • Analysing key performance metrics (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Participating in audits, investigations, and product trials to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Upholding all food safety, health & safety, and relevant legal standards.

    We're seeking a hands-on leader with a solid background in kitchen operations, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • You'll need to be proactive, solutions-focused, and capable of motivating your team to deliver exceptional results.,
  • Experience leading a busy kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation (Food Safety Level 2).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • IT proficiency, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Flexible approach, with the ability to provide support outside of normal working hours if required.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining quality and safety.
