Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Kitroom Operations Supervisor to join a leading broadcast hire equipment facility based in London on a permanent basis. In this role, you will work as part of a close-knit team and be responsible for providing crew and equipment to the broadcast industry.

As a Kitroom Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day logistics of the vehicle fleet, ensuring that equipment is being sent to clients on time, liaising directly with the Bookings Account Handlers to ensure efficiency of operations and company protocol.,

  • Delegate tasks and duties to Kitroom staff including overseeing Kitroom technicians.

  • Assist with repairs, servicing, and parts procurement, ensuring that equipment is re-stored accurately to avoid delays in stock requirements

  • Vehicle Fleet Management, ensuring that all company paperwork is up to date regarding the fleet.

  • Handling day to day logistics

  • Facility maintenance and testing

  • Responsible for the upkeep of Health and safety measures

  • Supervise equipment preparation and check in procedures

  • Maintain quality control and reputation

  • Kitroom Technician training and instruction in latest technology

  • Develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers

  • Assist Kit Room Manager maintaining operations and servicing of Kit Room infrastructure and machinery.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the broadcast industry.

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving approach.

  • Experience within a Kitroom or Rental House facility

  • Strong understanding of broadcast equipment

  • Previous equipment logistics experience

  • Ability to multi-task and work across a range of different project requirements
