Full Job Description

We are expanding our team here at Williams Racing and are on a journey towards operational excellence., We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to join us as a Kitting Coordinator working on a Monday to Friday shift. This is a fast-paced environment and you will manage the flow of inventory through our pattern shop department, to ensure build plans are executable at the time of delivery.,

  • Responsible for ensuring that only correct work orders are delivered in the most efficient way possible and keep moving through the assigned department.
  • Coordinating with the UIIL (Used Incremental Inventory List) specialist to make sure we are UIIL compliant for work order audits and finished goods going to the track.
  • Coordinates larger projects with all department kitting coordinators to make sure we have the correct items in place when needed.
  • Checks the daily your assigned department's work-to list and feed back to the Operations Planning team on any stock or warehouse related issues.
  • Acts as a direct production liaison with Operations Planners on larger projects such as but not limited to chassis', suspension, front wings and rear wings.
  • Plans the staged release of work to ensure we are releasing the correct items from a BoM if everything isn't in stock.
  • Will respond to any urgent requests from the production leads within their area to ensure we are coordinating all parts within the business when directed.
  • Raises demand for any damaged tooling based on feedback from the Material Handlers.
  • Retrieving and ensuring all stock for cancelled work orders is accounted for. Including scrap of any parts already consumed.
  • Coordinate with the material handlers and ensure that all picks are in the right place at the right time, including tooling for any jobs where it is applicable.
  • Follow up on all tooling BoM's to ensure they are processed properly through to completion.
  • Ensure all machine jig tooling is assembled correctly and monitor stock levels to allow production of any parts required.

    Previous experience working in a stock-controlled environment and knowledge of inventory management techniques and stock handling methods.
  • Previous experience using an ERP solution, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and understanding of Team Centre is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge and use of MS Office, particularly Power BI.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a team player with a ''can do'' attitude.
