Full Job Description

In this important role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services Business Intelligence Center (BIC) team, you will contribute to the delivery of Knowledge Management (KM) services and business development support to consultants. The mission of AlixPartners Knowledge Management team is to facilitate the creation, sharing, and leveraging of knowledge assets across AlixPartners consulting teams. KM at AlixPartners is the "Front Door" where consultants go to find relevant content or from which consultants are directed to find content for business development purposes. The KM Team supports the processes, including quality control review, and manages and evolves products to make content available and "findable", sets security levels and directs people to find content for supporting our teams in business development., The Business Intelligence Knowledge Management Senior Specialist is a maternity leave cover role for an initial period of 11 months, located in London, UK and reports to the Knowledge Management Leader. Paid relocation is not available.

  • Support the development and management of business-centric Hub Sites which enable consultants to find and share relevant information within their business unit and across the firm. Work with stakeholders to design, develop, launch, and refresh these SharePoint sites as needed to ensure they continue to support the needs of the business.
  • Manage and execute our client disclosability process. This involves regularly coordinating with BIC colleagues and business stakeholders to capture and track the status of new clients/engagements, maintain accurate listing of disclosable clients and associated assets, and respond to questions from the business.
  • Actively engage with testing and potential implementation of a new platform to support knowledge sharing. Participate in testing of new tools and platforms, as needed.
  • Leverage and engage with GenAI tools and explore ways to use this to enhance knowledge sharing in the firm
  • Be an active participant in the handling of BIC requests - sharing capacity and responding to requests from the business to identify relevant credentials and other materials to support business development work.
  • Actively monitor and respond to queries coming into the Knowledge Management Mailbox regarding bios, cases or technical issues.
  • Develop/update documentation of key process as needed.

    Experience working in a KM role - ideally in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Interpersonal skills that enable the individual to foster connections with colleagues throughout the firm at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to articulate our knowledge management vision throughout the firm employing brevity and clarity.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities effectively, adapt to changing circumstances to meet strict deadlines under time constraints while taking responsibility for own workload.
  • Service focused and highly responsive with good business sense and judgment.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with building and maintaining SharePoint sites and testing and configuring new technologies required.
  • Experience at working in a global team, leveraging technology to achieve goals whilst working primarily in a virtual set-up.
