Are you an innovative and enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? Our specialist school in Camden is seeking a passionate teacher who is ready to inspire young learners in an inclusive and supportive environment. Role Overview: As a KS1 Class Teacher in a specialist school, you will work with children who have a diverse range of special educational needs. You will create engaging and personalized lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student, ensuring they are provided with opportunities to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.,

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, inclusive lessons that meet the individual needs of KS1 students with SEND.
  • Differentiate teaching materials and resources to support a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Provide individual and small group support to ensure all students are fully included in lessons and activities.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, support staff, and external agencies.
  • Track and assess student progress, identifying any additional support needed to ensure their success.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and confident.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive approach to supporting students' learning and development.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally with SEN experience.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A strong understanding of how to differentiate learning for children with SEND.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
