Full Job Description

As the KS1 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure all children achieve their potential.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that reflects the school's values.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the broader curriculum and school life.

SENCO Responsibilities
As the SENCO, you will:
Lead and manage the provision for pupils with SEND, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Develop and implement effective SEN support plans in partnership with pupils, families, and staff.
Provide advice, guidance, and training for staff to enhance inclusive practices across the school.
Liaise with external agencies and professionals to secure appropriate support for pupils.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEN interventions on pupil outcomes.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to join our dedicated team at Stone with Woodford C of E Primary School. This is a unique opportunity to combine a part-time teaching role with a vital leadership position as SENCO., Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience of teaching in KS1.
A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to the school's vision and values.

Desirable Criteria:
NASENCO Award or willingness to work towards it.
Experience in a leadership role, particularly related to SEN.
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils and colleagues.

The successful candidate will:
Teach a KS1 class for 0.5 FTE (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday).
Lead the school's SEN provision for 0.2 FTE (1 full day or two half-days, negotiable).
