Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher to join our Upper KS2 team at Kensington Avenue Primary School. This is a maternity cover, initially for a fixed term period of 12 months from January 2025, with option to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful candidate will:

  • Have familiarity with KS2 Standardised Attainment Tests
  • Have a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum for all the subjects in Key Stage 2
  • Ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
  • Make learning exciting, effective and inclusive
  • Be enthusiastic about ongoing professional development
  • Demonstrate effective and dynamic classroom management and teaching techniques and be motivated to work with us to get the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrive on team work.
