The role may involve supporting specific children with additional needs. Candidates must have suitable English, Mathematics and IT skills and will need to provide evidence that they have the skills to do the job. The role of a Cover Supervisor within the school is vital in ensuring high quality teaching and learning and positive outcomes.

  • The essential requirements of this role are:

  • GCSE level (or equivalent) English and Mathematic

  • Fluency of the English Language at an Advanced Threshold Level

  • Having an understanding of how children develop and learn

  • Ability to manage workloads and work calmly under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Participation in development and training opportunities as they arise, Disability Confident
