Full Job Description

The department of Inclusive Learning and Alternative Provision are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented KS4 and Young People's Pastoral and Behaviour Facilitator who enjoys delivering engaging programmes and supporting young people (14-25).

The role will involve mentoring young people in 1:1 and small group settings to ensure that young people and positively and effectively guided through their academic journey.

The postholder will engage and support young people and their families/carers to ensure they get the most from their experience with South Bank Colleges.

A diploma in Youth Work or equivalent qualification is essential.

The ideal candidate will be working closely with external agencies to participating in college quality reviews including identifying measurable indicators for the service to demonstrate its impact on student achievement and progression.

They will also have a diploma in Youth Work or an equivalent qualification and proven experience of effective skills development with young people in an educational, advisory or youth work capacity. In addition, you have excellent IT and numeracy skills who can communicate effectively with a range of clients.
