labelling assistant

Job Purpose: As a labelling assistant, you will be asked to place sticker labels on items from the warehouse.,

• Affix correct labels on correct products, adhering rules and regulations


• Follow picking and delivery schedules and complete tasks in timely manner


• Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying (items over 15kg )


• Carry out tasks, if required, in the warehouse to support general warehouse operations including cleaning, labelling, and sorting


• Carry out required tasks on the computer to complete labelling operation


• Complete stock taking paperwork on a periodic basis


• You may be required to carry out other safe and reasonable requests from your Manager or Supervisor.


• We will provide training commensurate with the tasks you are asked to complete
  
  Previous experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment


• Relevant experience in a retail and food environment


• Knowledge in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety and ensuring the compliance of safety standards.


• knowledge of Japanese and Asian products and confectionery


• Japanese language skills is ESSENTIAL , as you will be translating imported products.


A two hour trial shift is required before employment is considered.
