Full Job Description

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 12:45pm.

  • Receiving, unpacking and sorting patient samples.
  • Dispose of general and clinical waste, including sharps, and ensure workbenches are clean and tidy.
  • Receiving and receipting stock when needed.
  • Check stock levels of reagents and consumables and communicate when stock levels are getting low.
  • Maintaining stores area to an acceptable standard.
  • Adhering to SOP's, work instructions and Quality Management system (QMS).
  • Reporting any non-conformances or near misses using local and company QMS and health and safety systems.
  • Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  • Communicating effectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
  • Working in accordance with Eurofins values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality, and integrity

    Must have a good general education and must be numerate and literate with good command of spoken and written English
  • Scientific knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and good keyboard skills
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Data entry skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedure.
  • General computer skills using the internet.
