Full Job Description

Are you a meticulous and analytical professional with a passion for laboratory work? Join our team as a Laboratory Technician and contribute to our success by performing detailed analysis on oil, fuel, and coolant samples using a variety of manual and automated techniques.,

  • Sample Analysis: Perform analyses on batches of oil, fuel, and coolant samples using techniques such as wet chemistry, GC, FTIR, ICP-OES, XRF, KF, autotitrators, automated liquid handling equipment, and particle counters.
  • Sample Preparation: Sort and prepare samples into batches, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Process Improvement: Investigate and implement new laboratory process improvements as directed by the Analytical Services Supervisor.
  • Data Management: Accurately enter sample data and results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • SOP Management: Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards as assigned by the Supervisor.

    Relevant industrial laboratory experience or qualified to at least HNC/HND level in a scientific discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in various laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Deep understanding of GLP, COSHH & Laboratory H&S practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
