Full Job Description
This is an exciting developmental opportunity for motivated and experienced midwives to join our Labour ward team at Croydon University Hospital NHS Trust as a Band 7 Labour Ward Coordinator we are pleased to offer 3x vacancies with 2x Full Time substantive roles and 1x fixed term role of 12 months part time.
We are looking for forward thinking, positive leaders who can help us to continue to achieve great things. The successful candidate will already be working at an advanced level, with a wide range of clinical skills and experience in various settings and can support junior staff whilst ensuring quality care provision to women.
The role will involve supporting and promoting change as we continue to implement and embed our continuity of carer models into practice. You will work closely with the Labour Ward Matron to ensure that high standards of care and quality assurance is maintained. The successful candidates will have the necessary skills, confidence and temperament to practice autonomously and coordinate a busy Labour Ward and Obstetric Theatres providing expert clinical and managerial leadership to the multi-disciplinary team on your shifts.
