Full Job Description

The purpose of this post is to provide labouring and groundwork support, minor repairs, void clearance and assisting the hard landscaping team in their day-to-day duties., As part of this role, your key responsibilities will be to…

  • Assist operatives in carrying out groundwork, fencing, labouring and assisting on general repairs.
  • Help arrange the delivery of products needed to carry out works.
  • Work on your own initiative to ensure that 'call backs' to repairs are minimised and that 'fix right first time' repairs are maximised.
  • Undertake any other duties within the delivery team, such as voids or planned work as and when required.
  • Be available for Orwell's 'on call' rota, to respond to emergency repairs out of hours as requested.
  • Maintain lock ups and yards once a week as directed.

    4 GCSEs A-C or equivalent including English and Maths
