Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Land and Development Assistant to join our team within Vistry Central Home Counties, at our Cheshunt office. As our Land and Development Assistant you will work and provide support in a growing and experienced team of Land, Planning and Development professionals in our office in Cheshunt. You will work with the land and planning team providing support at the early stages of projects.,

  • Provide general secretarial and administrative support to the Land Director, Development Director and Land & Development teams
  • Manage Land and Development Director diaries
  • Assist in obtaining evidence of competitor sites for market research
  • Manage Land and Development teams holiday diaries
  • Support with invoice processing, liaising with external consultants to provide updates on payment status of invoices and raise purchase order through internal invoice system
  • Raise payment requests
  • Attend meetings when required to support the team and take minutes
  • Upload documents and drawings to the internal document management system
  • Co-ordinate meetings with internal and external teams as necessary
  • Assist with preparing acquisition papers, board papers and packs for approval by the land panel
  • Assist with market research to inform appraisal assumptions
  • Maintain document signing register and coordinate document signing with team
  • Coordinate site newsletter issues
  • Coordinate Development Team financial information in preparation information for CVR meeting as necessary
  • Update PI Insurance schedule and update schedule to company document management system
  • Support team with site handover packs

    Good teamworking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently as well as part of a team
  • Computer literate and able to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint to a good standard
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to the demands of varying day-to-day tasks to support team members
