Full Job Description

We are looking for a Landscape Technician Charge Hand to join our team based in East London covering Hackney and surrounding areas. You will work alongside 2 other Landscape Technicians visiting a variety of properties, providing ground maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge cutting and shrub pruning in communal areas. A van will be provided and it will be your responsibility to ensure it is kept in good condition.

The role of Landscape Technician Charge Hand will include:

- Provide supervisory support in keeping estates well maintained and clean
- Use equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer's guidance
- Carry out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations

A pesticide application certificate PA1 - PA6 or equivalent
- NVQ3 or equivalent in Horticulture or similar discipline is desirable
- Recent experience of working within a similar role where operating gardening machinery is essential
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence, Disability Confident

- Role Salary is £27,487 with an additional policy allowance of £780 per annum (pro rata)
