Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Medicine & Community CBU team for a Specialty Registrar post in Medicine for Older People for 10 months to cover a period of maternity leave (November 2024 to August 2025)., The successful candidate would be expected to be involved in the delivery of Medicine for Older Peopleservices to inpatients as well as the General Internal Medicine On-call rota.

In addition, involvement with the Inpatient Medicine for Older Peoplereferral rota team, to improve care for those patients requiring medical review, will also be intrinsic to the role.

We recognise a degree of training in this specialty area might be required and applicants will be mentored/supervised by one of the Consultants Medicine for Older People' specialty lead. It is expected that the candidate would register with a training body for an e-portfolio. There is a requirement to undertake annual appraisal and participate in job planning.
