Full Job Description
- Advising on corporate law and regulatory compliance
- Managing sanctions and export control matters under U.S. Law
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Licensed in Turkey and the U.S.
- Strong expertise in commercial & corporate law and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of sanctions and export controls
- Fluent in English and Turkish, French is a plus.
Legal Advice and Consultation: Providing clients with expert legal advice on
various issues, including understanding their rights, obligations, and potential
legal outcomes.
Case Preparation and Management: Preparing and managing legal cases by
researching legal precedents, gathering evidence, and developing strategies
to support clients' positions.
Drafting Legal Documents: Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents
such as contracts, wills, pleadings, and motions to ensure they are accurate
and legally sound.
Client Representation and Advocacy: Acting on behalf of clients in
negotiations, mediations, and arbitration to achieve favorable outcomes and
protect their interests.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring that clients' actions comply with legal
and regulatory requirements, and advising on how to comply with laws and
regulations.
Legal Research: Conducting thorough legal research to support case
preparation and provide up-to-date legal advice based on current laws and
legal precedents.
Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all client
information and adhering to ethical standards of the legal profession.
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships
with clients, understanding their needs, and providing consistent and effective
