Lead Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) and Terraform Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure management and automation. The ideal candidate Should be responsible for implementing and supporting advanced Azure Virtual Desktop environments. This role requires deep expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and a thorough understanding of Azure cloud services. The Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and management of AVD solutions.,

• Design and architect Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments based on business requirements.


• Implement AVD environments using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability.


• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of AVD resources using Terraform.


• Provide L3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.


• Monitor and maintain AVD performance, availability, and security.


• Optimize AVD environments for cost-effectiveness and performance.


• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and identity services.


• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate AVD solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.


• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies for Azure environments.


• Stay updated with the latest Azure and Terraform features, best practices, and industry trends.


• Propose and implement enhancements to AVD and Terraform processes to improve efficiency and reliability



• Create and maintain detailed documentation for AVD deployments, configurations, and support procedures.


• Generate regular reports on AVD performance, usage, and costs.
  
  AZ-140: Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop certification.


• Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments.


• Experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with Microsoft Azure.


• Proven experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments and terraform.


• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, with experience in writing and maintaining Terraform scripts.


• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and identity management.


• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).


• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.


• Strong understanding of networking, security, and governance in Azure environments.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating Terraform into DevOps workflows.


• Familiarity with other Azure services like Azure AD, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center and Nerdio Manager.
