Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Administrator to join the 'Bolton Family' and be a part of our administration team supporting the Fostering Team. Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.

The Fostering Team support every aspect of the in-house foster carer process from marketing and recruitment events to promote fostering in Bolton to the annual family event to celebrate the hard work of foster carers. You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people and families achieve their potential.

The lead administrator is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with pre and post fostering panel arrangements and collating reports for Panels. The role also involves taking comprehensive minutes of panel meetings, so accurate and efficient minute taking experience is essential.

You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes.
You will demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.
You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work.
You must possess excellent literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and be proficient in the use of packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

This is your opportunity to join us at an exciting time as we have strong ambitions for the borough.
