From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). The post is based in Shrewsbury at Coral House. You will be responsible to support the Named Nurse in leading the administrative team and ensuring processes are in place that are integral to statutory health assessments for Looked After Children.
We are looking for someone with existing skills and experience in administration to join our team and support the service for Looked After Children across Shropshire and Telford.
Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received, we advise you submit your application early to avoid disappointment., The post will involve leadership within the team, data collation and extraction, general administration duties; including managing enquiries, maintaining databases, using word and excel, using internal digital systems, arranging clinics and liaising with professionals within and outside our organisation to support the health and wellbeing of Looked After Children in our area.
The role will offer you the opportunity to communicate with a wide range of people. You will therefore have excellent communication skills. You will be expected to work with confidential and sensitive information in a busy environment. You will be a valuable member of the team and have the confidence to work independently within local protocols and with regard to legislation. You should be computer literate, evidence leadership skills, be able to collate data, be able to prioritise, show attention to detail and have the ability to work as part of the team or self-directed.
You must demonstrate how your experience and skills meet the criteria as listed in the person specification in order for your application to be shortlisted.
