Full Job Description
Improving efficiency and setting the foundations for the long term pillar of growth, the Lead Analyst for Marketing is an integral part of the Global Analytics function at Treatwell. By defining the foundation of the marketing analytics process, we expect from you a plan to steer all the different marketing analytics necessities of the company. In this role you will analyse and present large amounts of data to discover and solve complex business problems, you will build metrics and business cases around key performance levers in the business to drive optimisation and increase conversion, and ultimately to impact the business growth. You will be responsible for:
- Defining and structuring the metrics and KPIs for Marketing working closely with the Data Product Management and Analytics Engineering teams to build a robust source of information.
- Working proactively across Marketing to gather measurement requirements and business questions to provide, in return, analysis, insights and recommendations.
- Building and maintaining reports and dashboards on our Marketing activities and overall B2C and B2B business performance in our BI tool (Looker), combining several sources of data and setting them for self-service usage by the Marketing team.
- Measuring and modelling marketing activities to provide actionable insights for future planning, for example with regards to attribution modelling, campaign performance, creatives and channels testing.
- Identifying key audiences to use within Marketing activity and targeting, ensuring a high standard segmentation models and alignment to the marketing strategy.
- Leading and mentoring a team of analysts across multiple seniority levels and working on different domains (Finance, Product, Supply, Demand) to provide guidance on best practices in data analysis, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. This includes ensuring each team member receives the coaching, support and development opportunities to grow in their role, while also providing the strategic direction necessary for each domain to meet its growth objectives.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills - Expert in writing and running your own SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- A data visualisation expert with strong data storytelling skills
- Proven experience in KPIs definition by also driving the business requirements generation.
- Able to determine cause and effect for changes performance and successfully communicate solutions, especially with respect to digital marketing campaigns and brand activities
- Proven experience exploring customer and market insights, predicting LTV, segmenting audiences and A/B testing of marketing campaigns
- Experience with data visualisation tools, Looker preferred
- Understanding of statistical analysis such as regression modelling, cluster analysis, predictive modelling
- Experience working with various digital advertising platforms, including but not limited to Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Suite, Customer Data Platforms, Salesforce and Braze CRMs, Mixpanel
- Experience mentoring and managing a team, with the ability to support analysts' development and oversee diverse business domains.
- Enjoy a fast-paced, continuously evolving, environment and find motivation in supporting a variety of different business projects and goals.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to the online beauty industry is preferred.
- NOTE: This is a Hybrid role, with the expectation to work from our London office at least 2 times per week (Office location: Treatwell, Fairfax House, Fulwood Place, London, UK)
