Full Job Description
As Lead Business Change Manager you will be responsible for a programme of business change associated with the introduction of digital signalling. Youll work alongside existing digital signalling deployments to understand whats involved and what business change and cultural change activities are required, alongside the challenges associated with implementation and benefits realisation. You will scope up and implement the programme of business change required, including developing templates, guidance and standardised approaches for use by future initiatives. Youll also provide support and guidance across the portfolio on business change. Youll be responsible for monitoring progress and tracking delivery outcomes, managing risks, and engaging stakeholders throughout the process.,
- Drive and support the delivery of business change projects and programmes across the industry, including infrastructure, operators and maintainers.
- Identify, plan, and track business benefits and outcomes required for the business change programme.
- Provide programme assurance and manage the benefits realisation plan across the business change programmes.
- Establish and maintain business ownership of benefits profiles and the realisation plan.
- Assess and manage risks to benefits realisation and stakeholder engagement, addressing potential issues and concerns.
- Develop and implement stakeholder management strategies, persuading internal and external stakeholders of the agenda for change.
- Create and implement communications strategies and plans to support the change process.
- Prepare business areas for transition to "business as usual" by developing strategies to protect the investment and facilitate a smooth transition.
Senior project manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale business change in a complex blue-chip organisation or government function. - Extensive experience in defining, tracking, and delivering business benefits within change management initiatives.
- Strong results orientation with a passion for delivery.
- Expert interpersonal and influencing skills, securing buy-in across competing interests to enable change.
- Commercial awareness and strategic insight.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a rapidly evolving environment., Experience working across business functions to deliver multi-million-pound business benefits.
- Experience managing teams in a change-resistant, complex business environment.
- Budget management experience.
- Experience of the introduction of ETCS and signalling
