We're hiring for a Lead Business Systems Analyst to join as part of our Data Transformation Office in London.
Purpose of the Role
As Lead Business Systems Analyst you'll be a key member of the data management team responsible for the functional integrity of the solutions that dentsu implements for enterprise data management. You'll act as a liaison between the data team and stakeholders from global, regional, and enterprise technology stakeholders. Working closely with dentsu's business and technology stakeholders, you'll elicit solution requirements in support of dentsu's business goals and the associated enterprise data capabilities. You'll drive requirements feasibility analysis based on business priorities and data availability and provide guidance to the technology implementation team on behalf of the dentsu's business operations team and ensures solution business relevance and functional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with data stakeholders and subject matter experts as a means to elicit solution change requirements, both business and functional.

  • Perform analysis of new data for inclusion into a data product/enterprise data platform, and ad-hoc analysis of data to support the requirements process, taking ownership for accurate requirements specifications and acceptance criteria for Solution changes, updates, and maintenance.

  • Take direction from project management regarding schedule, scope, and cost tradeoffs.

  • Assist with solution testing utilizing business validation techniques and lead solution user acceptance testing.

  • Update and maintain solution documentation including Requirements, data flows, business glossary, data catalog, data lineage, data models, etc.

  • Serve as the Functional point of contact for the solution, working through data and design questions/issues as they arise

  • Maintain the solution in production, working with end users, and facilitating change requests with the broader team using a defined change management process.

    Technology implementation experience in the field of master data management and enterprise data management including data mastering, data integration, data transformation, system integration, and data analytics.

  • Experience documenting requirements for the purposes of scope management, design, development and testing enablement through traceability, ideally working with various methodologies including Agile

  • Knowledge of master data management and enterprise data management concepts

  • Hands on experience with relational design concepts [e.g., table design, table relationships, primary and foreign key designations].

  • Experience with user acceptance testing

  • Strong customer service orientation; consistently meet internal and external client commitments; ability to manage through challenging situations resulting in positive outcomes

  • Effective communication skills: ability to simplify and structure complex concepts to streamline interactions and highlight key points

  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizational skills and ability to adapt to various conditions and situations; ability to tolerate stressful situations and remain focused under pressure

  • This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are typically in the office twice a week.
