Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, driven, expert nurse to join the specialist oesophagogastric (OG) cancer team at UHMN and lead the clinical nurse specialist (CNS) team., To provide senior leadership and management to the OG cancer nursing workforce and provide senior nursing support to the wider OG cancer team.

Provide expert autonomous advice and support to patients and families through independent nurse led clinics.

To facilitate staff and team development and ensure effective communication systems operate within the .

To provide PDR to all members of the nursing team, ensure compliance with mandatory training and the upholding of Trust values.

Provide expert evidence and input into the yearly cancer quality measures to ensure the service is compliant with national measures e.g COSD data (28 days target/ 62 day target)
