Lead Early Years Practitioner

A Primary School in the North London borough of Islington is looking for a Lead Early Years Practitioner for 2-year-olds with their development to ensure they reach their full potential, particularly in their prime areas of learning development

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:20 am to 4 pm. The successful candidate will be part of an enriching team that practises well-being & a progressive learning environment.,

• To take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons


• To undertake Child Protection training at a level commensurate with role.


• Work under the direction of senior management, to guide and advise on practice, ensuring the best possible progress for all children
  
  Substantial successful experience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting including children from birth to age three


• Must be an Early Years Professional or Early Years Teacher/pathway to Early Years Teacher


• A sound knowledge of child development and early childhood education


• Academic background relating to Early Years Education or similar (not essential)
