How you'll make a differenceLead Environments Engineers play a pivotal role in the design, development, governance and maintenance of mission-critical non-production on-prem and cloud environments. They leverage their extensive technical expertise and leadership skills to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation across the organization. They are proficient in all aspects of non-production on-prem and cloud environments disciplines, and they often have a deeper understanding of architecture and design principles. They lead the technical direction and
executions of deliveries, ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. Lead Environments Engineers drive continuous improvement and innovation, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Additionally, Lead Environments Engineers should have a strong understanding of all operational requirements, and ensure Scalability, Resiliency, Observability and Maintainability are at the forefront of all engineering activities.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Significant experience in data centre operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing.
- Proficient in specific technologies including, but not limited to, Microsoft Server and Client operating systems and infrastructure applications, AWS Cloud, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and Networking, VMware, EMC a SANs
- Background in scaled agile software delivery.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesLead Engineer Level knowledge in Environments including:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technology initiatives to build and maintain key elements of infrastructure and associated project portfolio
- Minimum 5 years' experience of data centre operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing.
- Proficient (minimum 5 years' experience) in specific technologies of note include, but not limited to,Microsoft Server and Client operating systems and infrastructure applications, AWS Cloud, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and Networking, VMware, EMC a SANs
