Lead Engineer - .Net

How you'll make a difference.NET Lead Engineers play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical applications and systems. They leverage their extensive technical expertise and leadership skills to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation across the organisation. They are proficient in all aspects of engineering disciplines, and they often have a deeper understanding of architecture and design principles. They lead the technical direction and executions of deliveries, ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. Lead Engineers drive continuous improvement and innovation, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Lead engineer level knowledge in all aspects of Microsoft's .NET framework including:
- Significant engineering experience (minimum of 5 years) with a proven track record of coding in .NET 4.6+ using TDD/BDD.
- Experience of working on micro services using DevSecOps pipelines and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Experience of C#, Entity Framework, RESTful services, Web API, SQL Server and design patterns.
- Know ledge of REST APIs, Graph Ql, spring Integration, Kafka or Confluent stack.
- Solid understanding of solution architecture, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable systems.
- Background in scaled agile software delivery.
