Full Job Description

  • Network and communicate with senior stakeholders across the enterprise in seeking opportunities and value propositions for improvement assuring business, technology and data decisions are aligned with the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmaps.
  • Lead the enablement of the enterprise architecture vision set by the Chief Architect, strategy and roadmaps from a business, technology and Data perspective.
  • Support in establishing, maintaining, educating and governing the use of our architecture principles, standards and patterns championing them to help realise DVSA's business strategy and overall digital capabilities.
  • Drive informed business, technology and data decisions, emphasising reuse, sustainability, scalability whilst minimising risk, technical debt and total cost of ownership across the enterprise.
  • Represent DVSA's Enterprise Architecture across wider government to drive government wide architecture best practice and be a key member in supporting the DVSA in realising its business strategy., This role can be based in Bristol, Swansea, Nottingham, Newcastle, Oldham or Birmingham or Leeds your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
