Full Job Description

This role will provide leadership and work with other key leads within Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust (BWC) on coordinating the implementation of the governance framework, quality and clinical strategy for the Medicine Division., Providing effective and innovative leadership to the Senior Team, ensuring there is clear direction and decision making regarding strategic development, service improvements and efficient utilisation of resources Provide professional challenge and advice relating to clinical governance, risk and compliance agenda to the senior clinical leadership teams across the Division. Provide the strategic leadership to enable the senior team to analyse and implement national guidance as appropriate and critically review recommendations. Provide the direction for the senior team to ensure the voices of those in our care, and their families are central to safe care provision. Influence practice development by developing innovative thinking within the team to overcome current and future workforce and service delivery challenges. Nursing to ensure robust clinical and operational policies are developed and implemented to support service improvements. Be a strong advocate for patient and public
involvement within the divisional structure and ensure the development of patient and user forums.
