Full Job Description

Joining the team, you will drive innovation by collaborating with our international customer base to interpret business requirements and develop new features that enhance our award-winning software. You will ensure excellence by maintaining our existing software to keep it efficient, secure and up to date, ensuring it continues to meet the highest standards. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with test engineers to quickly identify and resolve issues, maintaining the quality and reliability of our products. As a Lead, you will participate actively in team meetings, share your insights and contribute to project discussions. You will provide coaching and act as a mentor to junior team members and will have the ability to motivate and inspire others whilst leading by example. Staying ahead of the curve is particularly important and we would expect you to develop your skills to keep pace with new technologies and provide insights that drive our business forward.

Core responsibilities/activities:

  • Teach and guide other developers

  • Enforce internal standards within the team

  • Undertake code reviews and provide feedback based on internal practices

  • Manage technical aspects of large-scale projects

  • Analyse application requirements and write technical documents to support development

  • Troubleshoot complex development issues

  • Accurately estimate work

  • Review code and develop new features

  • Maintain existing applications

  • Interact with testers on a regular basis to identify and address issues in a timely manner

  • Research new technologies and move the business forwards

  • Attend and participate in team and project meetings
