Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a talented individual to lead our governance functions and ensure we maintain the highest standards of accountability and transparency. As the Lead Governance Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the trust's board and executive team. Your responsibilities will include: Governance Leadership: Providing expert advice and guidance on all governance matters, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Board Support: Coordinating and managing board meetings, preparing agendas and ensuring accurate minutes are recorded. Policy Development: Leading the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures. Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with trustees, school leaders, and external stakeholders. Training and Development: Organising and delivering training sessions for trustees and staff on governance best practices. Key Requirements

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust. The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Infant School, Barnes Farm Junior School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School and The Tyrrells Primary School.
