Full Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This role is only needed for the Christmas period Crisis at Christmas receives all donated goods into our Warehouse. A team of volunteers sort and pack into hampers individualised for our members. Based from our Skylight, you will work alongside the Christmas Warehouse Operative, Transport Team and Event staff to ensure hampers are delivered correctly. What you will gain

  • Core tasks Your tasks may include:
  • Working alongside the Christmas Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for overseeing the hampers and ensuring the correct hampers go with the correct food deliveries.
  • Please note this role might have some manual handling involved as you might be required to carry hampers out to volunteer drivers cars.
  • You may also be supporting guests at the event to collect their hamper., We expect volunteers to comply with Crisis policies including health and safety, data protection and code of conduct at all times
  • To maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all accessible information about guests and the organisation
  • Be positive, productive and have the passion to help end homelessness

    This role is suited to someone who has also volunteered in the warehouse over December and built up a knowledge of the hamper system in place this year.
