Are you an experienced Midwife or Nurse looking for a rewarding leadership opportunity? Join our dedicated team to lead the Immunisation programme for maternity services at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust. ? In this role, you will collaborate with the Specialist Midwife for Public Health and other team members to oversee and provide a comprehensive Immunisation programme for pregnant women. ? As the Immunisation Lead, you will be at the forefront of rolling out the new RSV vaccination programme. You will also take on the vital responsibility of monitoring and providing oversight for the vaccination service within maternity services. ? This role plays a key part in tackling health inequalities by promoting the vaccination programme to families. You will work across both hospital and community settings, with minimal indirect supervision, while maintaining accountability for all aspects of your work within your assessed level of competence., ? You will work to deliver a safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women and people across the Lancashire Teaching Hospital Trust footprint. ? You will develop a robust vaccination service for the delivery of all maternal immunisations, ensuring every service user receives a full vaccination offer during their maternity journey. ? You will develop the communications package for the Trust, promoting vaccinations and ensuring a fair and equitable provision for all pregnant women and people. ? You will work collaboratively with wider system partners to encourage and influence endorsement of the maternal immunisation programme for their local population., ?
