Full Job Description

The Lead Infrastructure Network Engineer will be responsible for the Digital infrastructure through proactive maintenance and operations of the Group's data centres, cloud tenancies, communications rooms and wiring rooms as part of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. As part of a dynamic and agile team that is committed to our Vision 'Dedicated to Excellence', you will have significant personal opportunities to grow and develop, as well as to tangibly impact how care is delivered in the future., The postholder will be responsible for configuration management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation and perform asks necessary to fulfil service requirements regarding server capacity, security, and availability. They will have some knowledge of managing Avaya / Extreme networks and Cisco technologies to include on-prem, remote and cloud services. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that effective infrastructure monitoring is in place.

The post holder will be work closely with the Infrastructure Network Specialists to ensure that support and maintenance, security controls, documentation for all infrastructure elements, are in place and ensuring that they are monitored and kept up to date. There will be a requirement to be part of an on-call 24

  • 7 rota.
