Full Job Description

The Lead Analyst will work collaboratively with colleagues across theorganisation to ensure they are provided with the right information, at the right time, in the right format. This includes: developing the informationinfrastructure to support high quality information analysis; improvingmechanisms for measuring, understanding and improving the quality of data held in the data warehouse; contributing to the development of information services; effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders; and providing support to others to develop their knowledge and skills. The post holder will understand how critical good management information can be in the NHS, and will be responsible for ensuring that reports are developed in response to the needs of the business.,

  • To lead and provide support to operational and corporate team toenable them to interpret the available data to enable judgement onactual performance and the ability to deliver operational plans usingstatistical analysis where appropriateo To provide detailed analysis in order to model demand, resources andthroughput to ensure appropriate balance of provision and to identifyvariances between supply and demand to facilitate discussions ofservice change, provision or development.o To lead the analytical work within services to assess capacity anddemand for each clinical service, identifying areas of service pressure,undertaking gap analysis and support the production of optionappraisals.o To work alongside the other corporate functions including HR, Financeand Quality to investigate and respond appropriately to queries frominternal and external sources in relation to operational and strategicreporting at all levels of the organisation.o To lead on the implementation of the data quality
  • framework andsupporting tools into their area of the business, ensuring that the rightstaff have access to the right tool in order to monitor and comply withdata quality standards.
