Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, innovative midwife for 22.5 hours per week with a passion for leading Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to support the Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative at Jessop Wing.
This will involve co-ordinating and improving the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly standards within The Jessop Wing and drive innovation and collaboration within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, To be responsible for the management and clinical leadership of the Infant Feeding Team within the Jessop Wing.

To provide strong, visible leadership and have the appropriate level of authority to provide support, advice and assistance required by your team.
Incorporate equity and inclusion principles into all infant feeding initiatives, ensuring the service supports women, birthing people, and families from all backgrounds.
To champion collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and with external partners, the LMNS and MNVP's, ensuring cohesive and integrated services that meet the evolving needs of the population
To drive innovation and collaboration within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To embed principles of sustainability and innovation into care delivery

The Directorate of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatology is based at the Jessop Wing which is linked to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The maternity unit has over 6800 births per year and is a Regional Tertiary Maternity Service with a Level 3 Neonatal Unit of 44 cots. A tertiary Gynae-Oncology service and a changing Gynaecology Service, which includes an Assisted Conception Unit, complete the services within the Directorate.
