Are you a passionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse looking for a new opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others?, Providing expert clinical leadership and support to junior staff members- Developing and implementing care plans for patients with a range of mental health conditions- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care- Contributing to the continuous improvement of mental health services through research and quality improvement project- Supporting the Head of Nursing-Mental Health to deliver parity of esteem for mental health patients in an acute hospital setting, o The post holder will jointly clinically and professionally support the management and delivery of the alcohol liaison and smoking cessation services.o To contribute to the clinical and strategic direction for the development of both services, ensuring and implementing best practice.o To work with colleagues (internally and across the system) to ensure mental health patients are receiving the right care and treatment.o Demonstrating a highly specialist and advanced level of clinical expertise, which includes a clear understanding of when to escalate a deteriorating patient or situation.o Providing expert advice and support to staff on the care of acute mental health patient presentation.o Ensure all mental health patients have an up to date care and escalation plan. If required initiate the care plan review as the patient condition changes.o Advise and support the completion of patient risk assessments and SBARD (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, &
Decision) documentation as required.

We are currently seeking a Band 8a Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive Enhance Care team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in mental health, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.
