An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Integrated Care Division Management Team in Specialist Medicine . We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to provide managerial and professional leadership, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred nursing service that meets the diverse needs of our patients.,

  • Lead, manage, and be accountable for delivering a high-quality, patient-centred nursing service.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Directors of Nursing, Clinical Directors, and Senior Managers to coordinate and deliver services in alignment with National and Trust Health Strategies.
  • Ensure a robust approach to service development and improvement, ensuring changes to structures, services, and roles are well-supported and aligned with ongoing development.
  • Support the strategic direction of Integrated Care division alongside the Divisional Director of Nursing and Executive Director of Nursing.
  • Provide professional nursing advice and leadership for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Nursing and Quality Strategies to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Drive the advancement and development of nursing services and practices, promoting continuous personal and professional growth in alignment with the Learning and Development team.
  • This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence and shape the future of Integrated Care Division nursing services, contributing to a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team. The successful candidate will support the Assistant Director of Nursing to provide professional leadership and management for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Strategy for Nursing & Midwifery. The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the overall clinical and operational day-to day delivery of clinical standards of care and the management of the nursing workforce, in accordance with set objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints, that ensures the delivery of a high quality, patient centred service that meets patient need. The successful candidate will also:
  • Contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of Trust and Group strategy within the context of the NHS Modernisation agenda.
  • Ensure a robust professional approach to service development and improvement.
  • Ensure that any subsequent changes to structures, services and roles are underpinned by appropriate support and on-going professional development.
