Full Job Description
This is an opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work in a Recovery Orientated Community Forensic Team. The role combines clinical and leadership skills including leading on the OT provision for the service, as well as input into the overall therapy service working closely with the Lead Psychologist and other members of the team. You will hold a referral-based clinical caseload providing occupational focused assessment and intervention to support individuals to live full and meaningful lives in the community. The role involves working across a number of boroughs with a, Lead Occupational Therapist for the Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopment Disabilities- North East London (FIND NEL Service). The purpose of this role is to provide clinical leadership to the Occupational Therapy department and wider therapies within the community team, working closely with the Lead Clinical Psychologist. Alongside this the post holder will oversee Occupational Therapy provision and hold a complex caseload, providing specialist input.
