What you'll do Being a Lead Performance and Development Engineer is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It's your chance to stir up real success - which means you'll be:
• Analysing data from the Machines to establish changes that need to be made to develop a business case to test new approaches and validate assumptions
• Reviewing capability and capacity of the team for developing and deploying any new initiatives
• Ensuring new developments are compliant with certification and health and safety standards and ensuring environmental impacts are understood and minimised
• Leading on quality, process and field standards through managing quality of our beverages to end consumer
• Leading the continuous improvement program for machine reliability
• Facilitate the change forum ensuring effective assessment, tracking and validation of benefits
  
  Passion for consumer quality, with experience of HACCP/ ISO standards/ process standardisation
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience working in environment with Field Engineers and across a range of complex equipment products (vending preferred)
• Lean/ Continuous Improvement expertise with ideally exposure to Six Sigma methodology
• Strong data analysis skills and able to build business cases
• Excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills, able to operate effectively in a matrixed organisation

The Performance and Development Engineer plays an important role in the development of capability and reliability across our suite of Costa professional machine products.
