Lead PET-CT Radiographer / Technologist

1. As a member of a multidisciplinary team lead in the effective provision and service delivery of the PET-CT Department, along with the other PET-CT Leads.
2. Be the Lead for Audit and Quality within PET-CT (liaising with the Audit and Quality Lead in Nuclear Medicine)
3. Patient experience Lead for PET-CT
4. You will be required to carry out a wide range of PET-CT examinations and procedures, including research, working both independently and as part of our multi-disciplinary team.
5. A degree of flexibility and adaptability to support the service needs will be expected
6. To attend training courses/ study days where appropriate
7. Managing PET-CT staff and rota's

We have a new and exciting opportunity at CUH PET-CT department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a band 7 post to help run the PET-CT service., 1. DCR (R)/BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and or BSc (Hons) Clinical Technology or equivalent,
2. Must have current HCPC/RCT Registration.
3. A minimum of 1 years PET-CT experience.

The department has a state of the art GE MI Discovery digital PET-CT scanner, we use this for 18F FDG, 11C Methionine/Metomidate, 68Ga PSMA/Dotatate studies as well as being involved with multiple research studies.
On site we have a Radiopharmacy, blood labs and we also have access to a cyclotron which provides some of PET-CT's isotopes and is part of the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre Cambridge University.
You will be involved in types of imaging that are not carried out anywhere else in the country and in some research instances the world.
