You will be working with our enthusiastic and dynamic team in providing the best clinical service for patients by working closely with other healthcare professionals., Managing a team of pharmacy staff and ensure consistent delivery of clinical pharmacy services to emergency department
Work closely with medical and nursing staff in emergency department promoting high quality, cost effective and patient focused care.
Monitoring drug expenditure and forecasting new drug developments within the specialty.
Developing and implementing policies and guidelines.
Delivery of teaching and training sessions to pharmacy, nursing and medical staff.
Develop and maintain highly specialist knowledge in medicines used within the specialty
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient flow

Working for our organisation
North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.

The postholder will provide clinical pharmacy service and lead the pharmacy team in emergency department. You will ideally be a current hospital pharmacist with experience of working in multidisciplinary environment, who is ready to take the next step and lead a team. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team providing a high level of care.
