Lead Pharmacy Technician-Education and Training

+ To assist in the medicines management and medicines optimisation
training of all relevant staff members within the Trust.
+ Assist in training staff to administer medicines safely to patients on the inpatient units and in community teams.
+ Provide training and support to facilitate the attainment of NVQ Level 2 and 3 (Pharmacy Services) and to act as Internal Verifier for this, ensuring quality assurance.
+ Manage trainee pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic pharmacy technician to lead the education and training for our growing pre-registration pharmacy technical team and support staff.
This role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Relevant experience and good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
