Full Job Description

To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate

To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Tutor

To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to accelerate with their learning

To contribute to raising standards of student attainment across the school

Fully engaging in the Developmental Drop In (DDI) process by giving and receiving feedback

To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth

Deliver staff training and evaluate the effectiveness of current training

To lead, monitor and evaluate the assessment and feedback to students in line with whole school and department policy

Relevant degree

Qualified Teacher Status or be working towards

Experience of working in a school setting

Evidence of / Commitment to continuing professional development

We are looking for a Lead Practitioner of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Brakenhale School and become an integral member of the teaching staff. We are an 11 to 18 school situated on the southern side of Bracknell town centre. We are a community school.
